Great news for Flight Sim fans – New Microsoft Flight Coming Soon!

Thursday, January 5th, 2012

Those of you who are into your flight simulators may well be familiar with out Liberty flight simulator cockpit, which has been designed to give flight-sim fans the true immersive experience that flight simulator software was designed for.

The Liberty Flight-Sim currently comes with Microsoft Flight-Sim X (by default – although x-plane is also available), which although being a simply awesome piece of software – with true realistic controls – was last released in 2006. Now we’re into 2012 a reboot was well in order, and despite rumors of the break-up of the original flight sim team, msnbc reports that in the spring we can expect the simply titled ‘Microsoft Flight’!

Although the title is slated to be released for free, it looks as if MS will be looking to cash in on the in-game purchases such as planes and scenes.

No technical details on the graphical capabilities have been released so far, however we’re hoping that the new title will be able to take advantage of the improvements in processor and graphics performance that have happened since 2006.

Stay tuned for more details as we recieve them, and we’ll be updating our extremely popular flight-sim cockpit package with the new software as soon as we get out hands on it! Until then you can hit-up the Microsoft Flight page for the latest news as it happens.

New options on the superb Liberty Multi Drive simulator

Tuesday, November 16th, 2010

Liberty Multi Drive driving simulatorWe’re pleased to announce that we’ve now got even more options on one of our most popular products! Double-win!

The Liberty Multi Drive driving simulator is parts of our great simulators line of products, and when combined with a console or PC of your choice really recreates the feeling of being in a racing car.

In case you haven’t seen it before the Liberty Multi-Drive is a surround sound racing simulator chassis, and it’s now fully customisable.

What this means is that now straight off the product listing you can customise the following:

  • Choice of monitor (or supply your own)
  • Controls (loads of options depending on your PC/console)
  • Colour (Red / Black / Blue / Yellow)
  • Race netting
  • Included gaming console

These include some great new options only available for the first time in the UK, so we’re really excited!

I’ve had a play on one of these and trust me they are really cool, nothing like a PS3 with Gran Turismo and the full force feedback of the G27 steering wheel, whilst hearing cars whizz past you. There’s a video of the multi-drive in action on the product listing so you can see for yourself.

As always if you have any questions about the Liberty Multi-Drive or any of our other great arcade machines, please just drop us a line on 0800 612 8180.

Liberty MultiDrive RS Driving Simulator

One of our product that we get the most compliments on when people come to see us in our games room showroom, is the stunning Liberty MultiDrive RS Driving Simulator.

And you can see why, this awesome piece ok kit puts you firmly in the action with a high-definition flat screen sitting just where the windscreen would be, and with Logitech G27 force-feedback controls that really pull you around! Not only that a full engine-like rumbler surround sound system is placed around you so you really feel like you’re behind the wheel.

These machines are PC, XBOX 360 and PS3 compatible, and run with any games that are compatible with the G27 (or XBOX wheel), which is most good driving games these days, including the awesome gran turismo series. Not only that but here at Liberty Games we’ve customised a number of these cool machines for promotional and events uses, including big names like Mercedes.

If you’re a real driving game fan then there really is no substitute for the total immersion experience that only the multidrive can offer.
