We may be able to solve your problem over the telephone
Through our operational experience it has come apparent that a number of service issues can be handled over the phone. This saves you having to pay a call out charge and may solve the problem instantly. The clearer you can be about the specific problem you are encountering the better chance we have of talking you through the solution. Digital photographs of the issue can also be of huge benefit.
Our standard service charge for London and Greater London is £65-00 + VAT+ parts for the first hour, then £45-00 +VAT per additional hour. (There is very rarely a problem that takes more than one hour to solve but we must cover that eventuality)
Should you require service a considerable distance away from our London operation, we will supply you with the details of a Liberty Games represenative in your area so you only incur a local service charge.
How can I help prevent the need for service?
All machines purchased from Libertygames.co.uk come with brief maintenance guides, these give you hints and tips on how to keep your machine in the best working order. Some hints and tips can be found in the ‘online buyers guide’
Here is an example of the type of information you will receive
‘Cleaning the Coin Mechanism: Due to the volume of coins that get put through arcade machinese on a daily basis, the coin mechanisms can suffer from a build up of dust leading to coins being rejected by the machine. Luckily the solution is very simple. If the front of the cabinet is opened the coin mechanism is located in the top right hand side of the machine. The mechanisms are built with a small flap that can be opened to expose the coin run. All that’s required is to clean the dusty area with a cloth damped with glass cleaner and the problem is solved.’
