Vacancy: Self-Employed Technician.
Liberty Games is always looking for skilled, experienced technicians from across the UK. Although we’re based near London, we also require technicians to work remotely and cover other areas of the country.
You would need to be a confident all-round technical specialist, happy whether installing a slate bed snooker table or rewiring a modern arcade game cabinet. Technical skills, combined with a pleasant, can-do attitude and a sense of urgency, are key requirements for this role. A full driving licence and own vehicle, as well as experience in driving larger vans, are highly desirable. You should also have a well-stocked, presentable toolkit.
The role itself is varied and exciting. Often you will be visiting customers’ houses and installing products, or carrying out repairs or service work. You might need to carry out extensive testing on a vintage pinball machine, or upgrade the amusements in an arcade or youth club. You’ll need to think on your feet and react to a changing workload from day to day, adjusting your priorities as you go.
If you have experience of working in the games or amusements industry, and would be happy to work remotely on a self-employed basis, please get in touch by email via firstname.lastname@example.org. Enclose a CV detailing your experience, a covering letter elaborating on your skills and employment history, and specify the region you’re based in. Please contact us by email only.
