The Evo benefits from a huge 28” widescreen Hi-Definition (over 1080p) TFT monitor with all high end branded components giving you superb quality gaming - not only does the Evo look so great, it’s also very easy to use - loading directly into the game selection menu with a one pushbutton on/off switch making everything as simple as possible. Even the PS3 compatibility is literally a case of attaching 3 wires, pressing a couple of switches to the correct mode, assigning the buttons in the game as you prefer and you are away.
Full Classic Lineup
As well as being provided with over 220 classic arcade games, the Evo is also fully compatible with other PC games/emulators that can be easily loaded through the DVD drive or USB ports. All cabinets are also fully MAME compatible allowing access to a huge inventory of classic arcade games. The PS3 controls option has been specifically designed for the current/future generation of coin-op fighting games (ie Tekken Dark Resurrection, Virtua Fighter 5 and the hotly anticipated Streetfighter IV), although all next generation titles can be played via the screen and your own PS3 pad.
Great 8-Button Two Player Action
The large 2-player control panel has been purposefully set to be at the most comfortable angle and position for true arcade gamers allowing the greatest playability currently available in any home arcade cabinet. The trackball adds a whole new dimension allowing you to play all trackball games as they were meant to be played, to navigate on the desktop when selecting media functions and to enable a whole range of PC titles.
Top-spec Hardware
Just as the Evo is superb for gaming, it also offers exceptional multimedia functionality with a built-in DVD re-writer, wireless card, speaker in/out and USB ports. The Evo can be used as a jukebox with crisp built-in speakers, the option of Hi-fi link-up and lots of spare hard drive space for storing tunes; to watch or create a DVD; to source media or surf theinternet with the cabinets’ wireless capabilities; or take advantage of the external USB ports to add your media, link up your MP3 or utilize any other handy PC devices such as digital cameras or additional joypads!
