Stern Pinball

Stern Pinball is the result of many years of hard work to create games that the customer wants and making sure that they are of great quality. In a process that was started by Sam Stern in the 1930’s when he bought half of an already quite successful company by the name of Williams owned by Harry Williams, Sam helped to build up the business through the 50’s and 60’s into one of the best known pinball creators around.

Passing his passion onto son Gary who after working for Williams created Data East pinball after his father’s death, Sam Stern ensured the future of the pinball industry. Sold to Sega and becoming Sega Pinball, Data East was eventually bought back by Gary and finally became Stern Pinball. Gary Stern has since carried on his father’s legacy and today Stern Pinball is the only company that is still producing pinball machines.

Today the company makes pinball machines that people want and would not be able to find in any of the more classical producers. Whether it be Avatar machines, Simpsons machines or even Iron Man and Tron machines, Stern pinball really know how to appeal to the modern customer. Even unlikely subjects like Shrek the lovable ogre gets a look in, in the pinball market thanks to Stern Pinball.
