These tips are made for players with specific demands, made from high-quality multi-layered leather in varying densities. With four hardness options, you can choose the one that gives you the combination of control and power that you need. In all cases, enjoy a longer lifespan, low shot deflection and improved performance. Horo tips are made from premium leather in Portugal.
Amethyst, Obsidian, Odyssey & Beast
The softest tip in the range is the Amethyst, rated 'Super Soft'. This leather 10mm tip offers the best grip in the range, allowing excellent ball control and the precise application of spin. The Amethyst tip is coloured pink.
Next up is the Obsidian tip, rated 'Soft'. This tip is ideal for players who want that soft-tip level of spin control, but require a little more longevity and shot power than that offered by the Amethyst tip. It is formed from five layers of leather and is (unsurprisingly) coloured black.
Rated as 'Medium', the Odyssey by HORO is probably the best compromise in the range. Its quality leather material still offers a good level of spin and ball control, but it's tougher too - so it won't become misshapen or worn quite as fast as soft tips. Combining this with a reasonable amount of shot power, it's an ideal 'do anything' tip and is coloured in blue.
The Beast is a hard density tip, carefully engineered to provide optimal shot power at the expense of some feel and fine control. It offers an extended lifespan with minimal tip mushrooming over time and a low wear rate. If it's power you need, choose the Beast. This tip is coloured in green.
