It's based on a strong wooden hut, made with treated FSC-certified timber for longevity. A plank ladder on the rear is easy for little legs and hands to climb up, and as their climbing skills improve, proper handholds mean they can pretend they're scaling the north face of Everest itself!

On top of the hut is a standing platform, approx 60cm from the ground. From here all of the delights of the garden can be watched, with a telescope if necessary. And to get down again in absolute style, a tough plastic slide delivers a thrilling 1.2m journey - all the way to the bottom!
The interior of the hut offers privacy. It makes a fantastic den or hidey-hole, with fabric curtains allowing access only when it is permitted. For little ones with a sunny garden to enjoy, the Charlie Small is a perfect first outdoor adventure centre.
