Product Description
Whether you’re working from home or in your office, there are times when you just need to let off steam and have some fun – and a game of table tennis is the ideal activity to combine enjoyment and exercise.
But perhaps you don’t want to have a full-size table tennis taking up valuable working space? The Spider table tennis table from specialist games designer FAS Pendezza is the solution. When it’s time to put away the ping pong bats, this innovative table converts quickly and easily into a stylish meeting room table or even into two desks. It’s the ultimate combination of work and play in a package to suit all spaces.
The Spider table tennis table owes its classic and minimal styling to leading Italian interior design company, Basaglia & Rota Nodari, which has created a handsome piece of furniture that will be an asset to any room, whether it’s configured as a ping pong table or as a table.
And it’s not just a table for two! With the Spider, you get five tables for the price of one! In seconds it converts from a table tennis table into a refined dining table for the whole family to enjoy post-game eating. Or, if it’s in the work environment, then it becomes a chic table for meetings and, when you don’t need a conference table, it separates into two stable single tables or desks.
The top of the Spider table has been handmade in 25mm thick MDF with a restrained beech finish which makes it ideal to complement any décor, whether in your games room, living room, club or office.
The 35mm metal legs – and as the name suggests, there are indeed eight! – have been epoxy coated for good looks and durability while the low glare table surface ensures a great game of table tennis every time. The net is 74.5cm from the ground and the net, net tensioner, two rackets and balls are included.
Even with the Spider’s superb multifunctionality, there may be times when you need extra space. That’s why this table has been designed with pivoting legs to make it easily compactable and a cinch to store. Remove the net, activate the hidden mechanism underneath and each table will stack on top of each other.
Ordinary ping pong tables can be cumbersome and, let’s face it, will always look like table tennis tables, but the extraordinary Spider brings the best of all worlds to any interior, making it a truly useful and attractive addition to your home or workspace, combining fun with function.
