Inspired by the traditional tables of American pool halls, the Strikeworth Pro American Deluxe is a large, inviting 7ft table with excellent game performance.
With its striking styling and large size, it’s ideal for bigger games rooms, or those social spaces where the most serious games are played.
The Pro American’s MDF bed is 18mm in thickness, half as thick again as the 12mm beds found on most MDF pool tables. This makes the Pro Am more rigid, more sturdy and flatter than the competition.
Over this, a carefully-selected speed cloth has been applied. This cloth is designed to replicate the feel of American tables, with high ball speeds and travel characteristics. Responsive rubber cushions complete the playing experience.
The cabinet is made from chunky MDF, hard-wearing and durable. It’s coated with a black laminate that is resistant to scratches and burns, and the top rail is finished in stylish leather-look. Mother-of-pearl-effect cue sights are inset into the rail and help to visualise shots.
Each corner is further protected with a large chrome-style corner cap. They are designed to protect against knocks, and bring a little more American style to the table.
The Pro American has a built-in ball return system, just like the more expensive slate bed tables. When a ball is potted, it runs back to the ball collection area inside the table, along a special return chute.
Also borrowed from slate bed tables is the leg design, which supports and stabilises the table with ease, making your table rock solid and your game more enjoyable.
The Pro American Deluxe is supplied with two 57-inch pool cues, a set of 2 1/4-inch spots & stripes balls, a brush, chalk and a triangle.
