Imperial Roman Architecture for Your Games Room
Bring Imperial style into your games room with the Rome pool table. This chunky table makes a powerful statement in any space, with three wide columns supporting the cabinet - just like the temples of old. It's a table fit for an Emperor!
The Rome pool table is available in a choice of three sizes. The compact 7ft table is ideal for the smaller games room. It's prepared with English pool-spec cushions and pockets. For larger spaces, the 8ft and 9ft table size options are made in American spec, with pointed cushions and wider pockets.
Sectional Slate Bed With Drop-Pockets
The Rome's play surface is a three-piece sectional slate bed. This is expertly joined and calibrated during installation. It's diamond-honed to give it an industry-standard flatness and perfect ball roll performance. The playfield features commercial-grade rubber cushions. These offer consistent shot rebounds and ball responses right along their lengths.
Six drop pockets around the playfield collect balls after they have been potted. Each drop pocket is fitted with a tough string net, which you can have coloured in black or white. Rubber sound damping on the pocket entry minimises impact noises.
Triple Pedestal Support Base
The base of the Rome is made in a triple column pedestal style, to provide a breathtaking and strong design. Here the cabinet and slate are carried effortlessly aloft. It's a design that is sure to draw attention from your guests and friends.
An internal metal frame provides the kind of strength that outlives empires! When combined with the tough wooden cabinet, it's a table that will provide years of enjoyable, high-end gameplay.
Cloth & Finish Choices
Britain was the edge of the Empire, and so it's fitting that the cloth is proudly British-made. For the 7ft British table, we fit Hainsworth Smart - a woollen, napped cloth that's hardwearing, performs well and comes in a range of colours. For the larger American sizes, we fit Elite Pro. This is a nylon-based, napless speed cloth that offers high-speed American gameplay and also comes in a variety of colours.
It's offered with a choice of finish, including painted options with matte or gloss lacquer, or wood effect styles. Fancy something really different? Each Rome is made to order, so chat to your sales rep to discuss what's possible and create something totally unique.
Exclusive Extras & Included Accessories
The Rome is supplied with a free accessory pack that gives you everything you need to start your journey as a top-tier pool player! It provides you with two cues, a set of Aramith pool balls, a table brush, a box of chalk and other extras. You will also receive a custom triangle and a free cue rack, both made with the same finish as your Rome Pool table.
It's also available with a selection of table top conversions. This gives you different surface options to fit onto your Rome pool table, protecting the cloth and providing a useful surface. Select your favourite from the standard tabletop, reversible ping-pong table top and a table top with glass.
