It might be worn down almost flat to the ferrule, or you might notice rattling sounds or a strange feeling when striking the cue ball.
This kit includes everything you need to fit a new cue tip to your cue. Use the clamp to hold your cue firmly and prepare your cue shaft. Then grab an 8.5mm or 9mm ferrule, the tube of glue and one of the included tips. Finally, use the included glue to securely attach your tip, and you're ready to play!
