Ghost in the Machine
To completely redefine the conventional table top design, which has remained virtually unchanged since the first machine was patented in 1921, FAS collaborated with noted Italian design house, Basaglia & Rota Nodari, which has an international reputation.
The end result is a phenomenal piece of sculpture which transcends all the usual definitions of a table football machine. A glass box appears to hover, supported on an elegant conical stand, while the steel rods on which the players are moulded float in mid-air. It's probably the ultimate combination of art and football table.
Playing the Game
Even if the players never kicked a ball in anger, this piece would be a beautiful and striking addition to any room. But it’s not just about art, because the Ghost is a professional table designed to facilitate the most exciting of matches!
The single support design brings an element of both freedom and safety to the game, with no corner legs on which to knock unsuspecting shins. The playing surface and cabinet have been made in tempered glass for safety and maximum durability, while metal details add extra style.
Team Spirit
While FAS may have named this new table ‘Ghost’, there’s nothing ethereal about the gameplay of this machine. The playing field measures a full-size 1145mm x 705mm and sits 855mm from the ground, providing a comfortable playing height for virtually all competitors.
The table is equipped with a goalkeeper that features 180 degree rotation, while at each end, the ball retrieval system and goal scoring device have been designed to complement the entire ethos of the table. Whether you chose the Ghost in black or in white, this is the foosball table you deserve.
