Solid Wood Cabinet & Legs
The Rene Pierre Leader football table is a high quality home table with a solid wood cabinet and attractive red trim. It's ideal for adults who are looking to learn the professional game, for shared households and for families looking to get away from the screen.
The 14mm sturdy rods are attached with inner and outer springs that cushion the inner table sides from unnecessary rod impact, and feature auto-greasing technology for minimal maintenance. The telescopic sliding action minimises the danger to children by keeping the rod ends inside the table. In addition, the ergonomic hand grips allow players to maintain a firm grip during play, enabling a fast, yet well-controlled game.
Hand-Painted, Metal Player Figures
The players are hand painted in striking blue and red team strips, and are laid out in the traditional european formation of 1,2,5,3. Built from solid metal, they are firmly mounted to the 14mm rods, and controlled by the player via the bulb-shaped ergonomic handles.
The linoleum pitch promotes fast ball speeds and features ramps in each corner, to prevent deadballs. When a goal is scored, the ball returns to the central port for kick-off, and a bead can be added to the tally on the colour-coded abacus scorers.
Excellent Stability & Longevity
The cabinet and legs are made in solid wood, for durability in the toughest indoor conditions. Outward-splayed legs give extra stability, and the legs are also cross-braced to prevent flexing and wobbling. The result is a solid, planted table that's a joy to play on.
