About This Product
The futuristic wargame pinball Laser War, reconditioned and ready to play.

Laser War was Data East’s first (and some say finest) pinball machine. It was launched in 1987, shortly after the Japanese electronics company acquired the pinball division of Stern Electronics. It was also the first pinball machine to feature full 2.1 stereo sound, with groundbreaking SFX and speech for its time.
Players rate its complex gameplay, 1980s-style artwork and particularly the spectacular light show triggered by hitting the Ion Cannon ramp during 3-ball Multiball mode. Data East were so proud of this light show that they actually patented it! Hit each target bank three times and lock your ball to get a second ball – harder than it sounds, with precision shooting needed to hit the small locks. Then lock your second ball within a certain time to enter 3-ball Multiball. Now shoot the Ion Cannon for a huge bonus, which will be even bigger if you’ve built up your ramp multiplier.
With only 2,569 ever made and a real reputation for player longevity, this collectible pinball machine is now sought after by collectors all over the world.
