The Sabre is a 3/4-jointed cue, and is part of the Britannia Steel range, so named because the joint and the ferrule are machined from aviation-standard stainless steel. It's fitted with a 9.7mm Grand leather tip, offering excellent control and precision, and can be extended with the supplied 6-inch mini butt, which screws into the end.
The main shaft is made from the best ash, picked for its consistency and then air-straightened. The butt is Gabonese ebony, a luxurious, deep black timber that is naturally dense and weighted at 18-20oz. The decoration is finished with four thick-cut striped maple veneers and four Laos Butterfly Burl splices. In the world of pool and snooker cues, the Sabre really is a cut above the rest.
