Doubling the Cube
The Cubista has been designed for FAS Pendazza by noted Italian design house, Basaglia & Rota Nodari. Its design lines draw upon the early 20th century avant-garde Cubism movement to redefine the traditional pool table.
Fittingly, one of the founders of Cubism, George Braque is famous for a series of seven paintings showing a billiard table and, while Braque didn’t own a table of his own, he was known to play billiards on occasion. Had the Cubista been available to Braque and his fellow Cubist, Pablo Picasso, then it’s a sure bet this is the very pool table they would have wanted!
The Art of Playing
With the low profile Cubista, not only will you be introducing a jaw dropping visual element to your home, office or games room, but you will also experience fantastic game play on the ultra smooth 19mm slate bed. The bed is covered with professional grade cloth, guaranteeing you thrilling games for years to come, while the angular legs have adjustable feet hidden in the bases for easy and precise levelling.
The Cubista is constructed in metal and available in black, white or dove grey to provide a stunning feature to your interior décor, regardless of style or colour. It’s like having your own practical work of art in your home!
Dinner Date
Thanks to Italian design and manufacture, the Cubista has been so cleverly and subtly designed that it begs the chicken and egg question – which came first, the pool table or the dining table? Invite guests to dinner and they will adore and admire your table with no idea of the transformation that lies beneath.
Then, when you’ve finished your meal, simply remove the perfectly fitted top panels and slide out of sight in the handy storage system and you’re ready to challenge them to a match. They may be so surprised that you have an unfair advantage – at least for the first game!
