One-Inch Sectional Slate Bed & K66 Cushions
The centre of the table is the slate bed. One inch in depth and carefully honed with diamond-cutting equipment, it's perfectly level and uniform across its whole area. It's a sectional bed, meaning that it comes in three pieces and is carefully joined together during installation. The result is a flat game surface, with shot accuracy that's up there with the very best. The slate sits in a six-beam retention platform that effortlessly supports the weight of the slate.
The six-inch solid hardwood rails, as well as the main cabinet body, are elegantly finished in a beautiful Silvered Oak effect, which combines a rustic aesthetic with a tough, durable surface. The rails are fastened down with Presidential Billiards' T-Nut system. Lacking any fancy decoration or carving, the wood surfaces are slab-like and chunky. K66-spec cushion rubbers are fitted around the playfield with a special cotton canvas backing, ensuring a snug fit for a powerful rebound. The pockets are drop pockets, collecting balls as the game progresses, until they can be retrieved at the end.
Unique Metal Pedestal Legs
Supporting the main cabinet and slate are those spectacular pedestal legs. They are fully metal, making the Vienna a strong and tough table that's easily able to carry the slate. The legs are V-shaped with attractive cutout details, and are cross-braced against each other via a long, thick metal strut, complete with chunky bolts at each end. At the bottoms of the legs are solid wood feet, splayed wide to offer stability and strength.
