Product Description
The Meteor makes a bold statement indeed. The chassis and legs are based on metal girders, giving this table an air of post-industrial architecture. It's perfectly at home in contemporary city apartments or in traditional games rooms.
Made to order by experienced craftsmen in France, the Meteor combines world-class play performance with aesthetic engineering that will draw attention as a centrepiece in any room.
A sectional three-piece slate provides a consistent game and a perfectly flat play surface. Pointed cushions provide the kind of lively rebound that an American table needs, and drop pockets store the balls after potting.
Over this is stretched an American speed cloth, giving the kind of fast-paced game that players of American pool require. See below for more details on cloth choice.
The Meteor can be converted into a spectacular dining table with the addition of the optional table tops. Simply lift these into place and create a seated space for eight or more of your guests.
As standard, the Meteor is finished with an Oak top frame. You can choose to have it made in Larch, or in a lacquered paint finish, or even in Altuglas - a kind of transparent toughened glass material. The choice is yours.
