Accurate 1940s Replica
You might think that the Vintage Charleston looks like it's straight out of the 1940s. And you'd be right. This gorgeous, traditional table is an exact replica of one of the very first American shuffleboard tables to be produced, as the game's popularity exploded in the immediate postwar period.
The manufacturer, Champion, has carefully recreated this piece of gaming history and brought it right up to date with the addition of the latest in shuffleboard technology, including advanced climatic adjusters, a polymer playfield and a perfectly-honed maple playfield. The past and the present become one in the Vintage Charleston.
Quality Maple Build
The design is an art deco masterpiece, manufactured entirely at Champion's Texas factory from premium timbers and materials. Stainless steel and mirrored accents pick out the details in the cradle itself, whilst the legs are similarly decorated and are braced for extra stability.
The Vintage Charleston is ideally suited for more traditional games rooms and venues, with plenty of warm, natural wood colours to match your decor.
Polymer-Treated Low-Friction Playfield
As with all of Champion's tables, the playfield is three inches thick and impeccably finished to make it smooth, slightly concaved, and free of imperfections. The result is unparalleled performance in terms of puck glide and accuracy, the kind of performance that makes Champion the world number one shuffleboard manufacturer.
At the scoring end you'll see two sets of numbers. This is Champion's patented Handicap Scoring system, which allows novices to challenge experienced players and compete on an even standing - ideal for those games with lots of mixed abilities.
Vintage-Style 2-Tone Finish
This table is available in the standard Two-Tone Charleston Stain on Natural Maple finish. This elegant combination of dark and light stains allow the natural maple grain to show through, adding to the classic feel of the Vintage Charleston.
The cradle is large and deep, to show off the finish at its finest. Stainless steel accents have been added to pick out details in the design, and additional mirror decoration catches the eye and adds a finishing flourish. Large, riveted steel centre sections add to the vintage feel. If the standard finish isn't to your taste, you can choose from any of Champion's finishes and order yours in your favourite instead.
Accessories Included
Included with the table is a large accessory pack, enough to get you playing and with plenty of supplies to see you through lots of games. It includes 8 x pucks, 1 x Powder, 1 x Silicone Spray and 1 x Board Wipe.

What is Shuffleboard?
Shuffleboard is a unique game, sharing elements of curling, bowling and petanque. Players slide their pucks up a long, near-frictionless playfield with meticulous precision, scoring points for accuracy.
Since the 1940s it has become very popular in the USA, and more recently it's being played in the UK in bars, venues and homes.
How to Score in Shuffleboard
In shuffleboard, you push your puck firmly up the table so that it slides along the play surface. At the far end is the scoring zone. The closer your puck gets to the end, the higher your score - but be careful not to push it off the table entirely.
