Its special formulation with chemicals called 'flocculants' is designed to cause the smallest particles of dirt to clump together, creating larger objects that are more easily caught in your filter. As the particles are drawn together and filtered, the result is clearer, fresher-looking water without cloudiness or floating grime.
It works on all kinds of dirt and grime, and also on dead algae and loose debris that you've disturbed with a cleaning brush or similar tool. It's super-easy to use, too. You should pre-treat the water with chlorine or algaecide 24hrs previously, and then test the water using test strips. Ensure pH and alkalinity are at desired levels, then measure out clarifier according to the instructions. Pour into the water and run the filter until the water is clear. Now you've got glacier-pure, crystal pool water!
