Display Custom & Third-Party Backglass Art

If you're connecting your Legends Pinball to a separate PC, you'll be able to play a vast range of third-party pinball video games from some of the biggest game studios around. However, the Legends Pinball doesn't display third-party backglasses as standard - it only shows backglasses for games that came preloaded with the machine, or games that were bought directly from AtGames as part of an official pack.

The VIBS upgrade overcomes this problem. It connects the backglass monitor directly to your PC, so that backglass art packaged with your third-party pinball games will show on the upright display.

Connects Legends Pinball with Your External PC

Your external PC needs to offer two HDMI outs to connect to the VIBS. This allows the PC to feed both displays simultaneously. The VIBS then connects to your Legends Pinball via USB 2.0 or 3.0.

Some DIY technical knowledge is advantageous for setting up the VIBS and preparing third-party games for correct display. However we do have guidance on installation and operation available. The VIBS is the only way to display third-party pinball backglass art on your Legends Pinball's vertical monitor!

As has often been described, a must for the Legend Pinball, the installation was quite easy, the only thing you should keep in mind is that the cables on the new model have to be twisted, but this is not mentioned in all of the video tutorials.

Essential if you want to use with imported PC tables with VPX or Future Pinball. I'm no modder but this was very easy to do following a couple of video guides. Will require a little hole cutting to get the best fit with the table, or you can just store it inside the table when not in use and then remove the small backplate to run the cables out when needed.

A necessary upgrade if you're considering utilising a PC either inside or outside your cabinet, it opens up a world of additional tables and graphical effects. Shame it wasn't included out of the box in a factory fitted version, as although an easy upgrade it can be a bit clunky to fit, dangling between cables with some light stress of those cables via twisting needed. Should have been released with some long risers included to attach to backboard and keep it level, but this is the manufacturers oversight and in no way a fault of Liberty Games.

These are minor niggles though, the product functionally is excellent and you'll be missing out on hidden missions, bonus selections etc on external tables via the DMD if you do not purchase it. Came with excellent quick delivery from Liberty Games.
