About The Game
The player controlling the Galaxian defenders of the Earth must destroy a convoy of aliens that are equally determined to annihilate him by firing missiles.
The defender must protect himself without the aid of barricades. He must shoot down not only alien army regulars, but also outmanoeuvre and destroy enemy fighter escort ships that peel off from the main body of the alien squadron at random.
Game Characteristics
With its gut-wrenching attack waves of aliens that scream towards you, Galaxian could at first glance be mistaken for a Space Invader clone.
However, the Galaxian arcade is an established classic as the first arcade to ever be in full colour, with multi-colour characters rather than coloured bands on a black and white screen! A true groundbreaking arcade machine!
