H2Overdrive is often considered the “spiritual sequel” to Raw Thrills’ earlier powerboat racing game Hydra Thunder - and this sequel does everything bigger, better and faster than ever before. Race and fight around seven intense water tracks from across the world; choose from nine speedboats to progress through the ranks; collect booster crates for MegaHull and HullCrasher power-ups to destroy opponents, and work over jumps, twists and secret shortcuts to become number one. As players progress they’ll unlock more ranks, levels and earnings, making it a game that just keeps on giving the more you play it.
H2Overdrive also carries Raw Thrills’ Personal ID Number system so that players can keep returning to increase their progression - and with up to eight-player linked multi-play, you can be certain of some intense head-to-head action out there on the waves!
The machine is available in either the Twin or Deluxe edition, with the Twin boasting two connected Standard machines each with a 32” HD LCD display, and the single Deluxe version ramping that up to a whopping 42”. Both promise stunning next-gen graphics, and a wealth of features to immerse the player in the experience: force-feedback steering puts control of the boat in the player’s hands, a beefed-up throttle makes it all the more satisfying to move around the track, and a dedicated subwoofer in the seat should add an intense, all-encompassing atmosphere to any game.
