Build Your Own Nostalgic Retrogaming Centre
Build your very own retrogaming hub at home with the Nova Blast Bundle! This versatile unit is designed for keen gamers to fit out with their own existing hardware. Whether you're a diehard JAMMA-juggling retrogamer, a pro PC player or a keen console connoisseur, you'll find a variety of connection options that allow you to set your preferred system up in the Nova Blast.
Use your own JAMMA-compatible arcade game boards, as well as various USB/HDMI compatible hardware (such as PCs, Analogue Pocket, Nintendo Switch and others with suitable adaptors). The screen is a modern 26-inch 1440 x 1080 resolution monitor with a 4:3 aspect ratio. This can be manually rotated between vertical and horizontal view modes to fit a variety of retro game display outputs, preserving each game's classic arcade look.
JAMMA Compatible
The cabinet features a standard 28-pin JAMMA edge connector featuring a +5V/-5V power output to support various JAMMA boards (Capcom CPS1 through CPS3, Sega STV, Konami, most PGM and Neo Geo MVS), and 5-pin or 8-pin joystick support too. It also includes a 3.5mm audio output port to audio amplifier, and synchronises output control signals to the included USB arcade encoders.
It's built with a premium control system featuring industry-standard Sanwa controls, allowing for precision gaming and lightning fast response. The controls are split for two-player gaming in a pink/green colour palette, with eight button controls and a joystick for each player. There are P1 and P2 start buttons, and a volume knob.
USB / HDMI Support
The controls are connected to a USB interface allowing you to connect to PCs, consoles and other devices such as the Analogue Pocket, Nintendo Switch, Raspberry Pi, MiSTer, Android boxes as well as other consoles with a suitable converter (sold separately).
The ULM26 Pro Monitor supports CGA/EGA, HDMI, and VGA inputs to allow for broad compatibility with a wide variety of video sources or JAMMA PCBs. The Nova Blast U4 is fitted with high-quality stereo speakers and an LED light box. Its durable cabinet is detailed with vibrant decals and allows for bar-top installation or self-standing placement on its included riser base. It features universal multi-brand joystick and button support, as well as seamless integration with a wide range of JAMMA compatible arcade Printed Circuit Boards.
Built-In Cabinet Cooling & Extra Accessories
The Nova Blast U4 is fitted with an internal exhaust fan to cool down internal components as you play. It effectively removes warm air from the cabinet's interior to help regulate temperatures during extended gaming sessions.
The Nova Blast comes as a Candy Cab Combo Deal, which includes a riser base with the built-in coin door, adjustable height foot supports and four wheels for easy movement. The Combo also includes two comfy, padded arcade stools for players to sit on. It's the ultimate starting point for your home retrogaming setup - just add hardware and games!
