About This Product

Manufacturer: Sega
Year of Release: 2007
About The Game:
This powerful sequel to Afterburner 2 is built around Sega's dynamic Lindbergh TM hardware system and it features the top fighter planes of today's day and age, soaring through climates and skies of all types.

The Brave Fangs Aero Team, part of the G.H.O.S.T. squadron from Sega's ever-popular Ghost SquadTM, has been instructed to shut down the rebels of the skies to end a potentially demolishing nuclear inferno.
The Lindbergh TM system delivers photorealistic air combat animations and depth in this superb arcade machine.

Aircraft include: F-14 Super Tomcat, F-15E Strike Eagle or F/A-19E Super Hornet in 4 different colour variations and fully loaded with guns and missiles.
Afterburner Climax features 20 new stages including Volcanic Islands, an Iceberg Base, Nuclear Arsenal plus secret and extra stages.
Critical Commands arise in game play with specific missions or changing enemy patterns and Climax Mode can be used to slow enemy motion by increasing speed or accomplishing a mission. High-tempo background music also intensifies the aura of the game.

Reconditioning Process:
After Burner Climax DX was originally released to the arcade and amusement trade industry in 2007 and was a huge hit - indeed you can probably still find the game in many family amusement centres, arcade venues and cinema foyers.
This cabinet was originally used in this type of commercial environment. When you place your order with Liberty Games we will take the game out of storage and put it on the shop floor at our HQ in Epsom, London where our technicians will fully recondition the game.
This process involves our technical staff fully testing all the component parts to ensure it is in fully working order as well as cleaning the machine and making any repairs that may be needed. As this is a previously used product please be aware that there will be signs of cosmetic wear evident when it is viewed.
We can supply this game to you for use in the commercial environment it was designed for, or we can set it up as a "freeplay" game that would make a stunning addition to a home games room or communal area such as an office breakout area or college common room.
