It’s the most realistic videogame experience this side of dedicated VR - and there’s no need for clunky, awkward headsets! The Sports Simulator transforms your games room, venue or exhibition stand into a football stadium, race track or golf course. Play with real balls, racquets, bats and accessories for an ultra-realistic experience, and customise your game environment to suit you!
The latest in movement-tracking technology is used in the Sports Simulator. It detects your movements and the movement of any accessories you might be using. If you’re hitting a ball, the technology also tracks its movements, and converts your kick, shot or movement directly onto the screen! It’s very clever, and it feels so natural.
This is the entry-level HD Sports Simulator version. Its overhead USB camera system tracks all movement within the game zone, detecting and quantifying kicks, hits, movements, swings and more - whether that’s your body or a ball. Behind the game zone is a high-quality HD projector. This displays your chosen game environment onto the front projection screen. The sides of the game zone are blacked out to exclude light and allow you to focus on the game.
Or you can upgrade to the Surround version. As the name suggests, this removes the blackout drapes from the sides of the game zone and replaces them with additional projection screens. Additional HD projectors mounted to the sides of the game zone are precisely calibrated, resulting in a 270-degree, three-sided cube of projection area, for the ultimate in surround screen realism!
The variety of available games and environments is massive. With the HD Sports Simulator, you can choose any two sport packages from the list. These will be preloaded for you. You can also add further packages from the list for a surcharge per extra game. This is because many owners only want to play one or two games, such as football or golf, and don’t need the variety offered by the other versions of the Simulator.
If you’d prefer to have the full suite of games, activities and environments, consider the HD Professional Sports Simulator or the ultimate, the HD Super Sports Simulator, both of which are absolutely packed with preloaded software.
If you choose, for example, the Football package, you’ll be able to take on 60 different game challenges. These are different types of game with different goals and playability, keeping things varied and exciting. And you’ll be able to play in a whopping 356 different stadiums from around the world, each precisely rendered for the best in realism. Or you could choose Rugby League for 40 game challenges played across 65 realistic stadiums.
There are many more sports to consider, from Gridiron, Ice Hockey, Mini Golf, Aussie Rules, Curling and even a variety of different Bowling suites. Whichever packages you choose, you’ll receive all future software and program updates free of charge, plus any new stadiums or environments that are created. Various software features are included too, like difficulty adjustment for kids or novices, and the ability to add your branding to pitch-side hoardings - ideal for conferences and trade shows. Branded footballs and boots can be added, and you can even have your own promotional videos playing on stadium video screens!
You’ll need plenty of space for this installation. Open space of 3.5m width by 6m depth is required for the single screen version. The 6m depth does include some extra room for taking a run up, swinging a club or similar. The ceiling should be over 2.8m high for ground-based games like football, and 3.2m for games like golf, where full-size drivers are being swung. For the surround screen version, you need a room of 5m in width. This allows the side-mounted projectors space to correctly render the images on the screens.
The other required dimensions are identical to the single screen version. Our installation team will set up and calibrate your simulator, so all you need to do is measure carefully before placing the order!
In addition to the awesome Surround Screen upgrade, you can tailor your Sports Simulator with a number of options and add-ons. There's the UHD 4K projector, which projects the games in sumptuous 4k clarity (Single Screen Package only). And there's a 21-inch touchscreen monitor, giving you more control over the game setup and management with a simple touchscreen interface. You can also add golf mats to protect your floor, and even upgrade those to multi-surface golf mats, which feature accurate Bunkered Grass and Rough Grass surfaces for even more realism in your golf games.
As mentioned earlier, this version of the Sports Simulator includes your choice of two game suites. For an extra £850 you can add further packages, to widen the game choice available. The HD Sports Simulator is about as close to the actual games as you can get, with fantastic features, lots of upgrade options, and the absolute last word in realism.
And if you want to use your Sports Sim for a particular type of simulation, we have three 'Themed' packages available - Shooting, Flight and Racing. These packages include 12 selected game titles and also include high-quality controllers and gaming setups - so you can fly, drive or shoot in absolute realism.
The Sports Simulator comes in three packages - each with the option of Single (front only) or Surround Screens.
This is the HD Sports Sim, the entry-level version. It's equipped with a single overhead camera system for movement tracking and three infrared lights (these illuminate balls and accessories in infrared to assist accurate tracking). It comes with two Sport packs of your choice included - but you can add more if you need them.
Please choose your preferred sport packages from the list on the right, under HD Sports Simulator. Our sales team will be in touch with you after you place your order to confirm which standard packs you'd like to choose, and whether you'd like to add any extras.
The other versions are the HD Professional and the HD Super Sports. These come with additional tracking cameras, larger game packages and extra accessories. Click and expand the image here for more information on each package, and read more about each version in the listings below.
