One-Piece Diamond-Honed Slate Bed
One of SAM Billiards’ best features is its special ProActive cushion system. This sees the cushion fitted directly to profiled surfaces on the cabinet, making a consistently uniform contact patch and avoiding dead spots. This makes your rebounds behave exactly the same, no matter where on the cushion or table you’re playing.
Also providing consistent performance is the one-piece, diamond-honed rock slate bed. This has been accurately flattened and machined to provide a perfectly linear surface - giving you accurate ball roll behaviour across the entire playfield.
Built for Strength
The cabinet itself is made from a resilient, thick plywood. This is lighter than hardwood, but much stronger than MDF, making the Balmoral a real toughie! The finishes are applied using real wood veneers, providing a stylish effect. Pinless pocket liners are shaped to prevent bounce-outs.
The legs are made from solid wood and are turned, to create that timeless traditional style. The cabinet body is also available in a coin mech version, which includes a sterling coin mech and a ball drawer (with white ball separator). Ball collection cubbies are found at the ends of the table (one cubby for freeplay tables, two for coin-op).
Lots of Finish Options
The Balmoral can be supplied in a range of Standard colours, as well as some Premium finishes at a surcharge. This makes it easy to match the table to your environment. A choice of cloth makes customisation even easier. The Victoria is traditional woollen cloth, designed for players of British pool. Or go for the faster Atlas nylon-based speed cloth, for faster ball speeds and a game more like American pool.

Includes Accessory Pack & Installation
Included with your Balmoral is a large, comprehensive accessory pack. It comes with everything you need to start playing, including cues and balls. Also included are maintenance products that will help you to look after your table, keeping it in good condition.
We also include installation with the Balmoral. This is because the handling and alignment of the slate is a tricky process, best left to the experts. Our install team will leave the table levelled and ready to play - so all you need to worry about is your first break!
Unique Contactless Payment Option
This table is available with the Contactless Payment system, exclusively available through Liberty Games. Now your customers don't need to ask for change - they can use their contactless card, mobile phone or payment system to instantly add credits.
The system deducts the price of a credit from your customer and instantly sends it to your account. The balls are released immediately. It's quicker and easier than using coins. Read more in our guide to contactless games tables.

Delivery & Installation of your pool table includes:
Two Man Delivery Service – Delivered to a ground level room of choice
Call Ahead Service – Our courier can call you one hour before they arrive so you don’t have to stay in all day
Installation
- Assembled and levelled by trained fitters
This product is delivered and installed by our dedicated fitting team who will contact you by telephone to confirm the delivery day and a time (usually within a 2 hour slot).
For deliveries up or down stairs please contact Liberty Games before placing your order so that we can prepare a quotation if necessary. We will require details measurements of stairwells and any landings.
Slate Bed Pool Tables are built to order in UK based factories. This process can take between 9 - 10 weeks depending on the model (please refer to product listing for more information). Once the table is ready it will be collected by our installation team and delivered and installed to the customer within the following 5 to 10 working days.
Deliveries will take place between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). If there is a significant delay to the delivery route then the driver will ring you directly to advise a new time.
We will deliver your table to a ground level room of your choice; however, we do ask that you check your goods will fit in your property and that any entranceways, hallways, corridors etc are free from obstruction.
Your table will be assembled in your desired location by our trained fitters, including bolting legs to the table, fitting cushions to the rails, placing the slate playing surface into the main body of the table and ensuring all ball runs and pockets are free from obstruction. They will also level the table to ensure a completely flat playing surface.
Please remember to inspect any goods you receive and check for damage to parcels. In the unlikely event that damage is found please reject the goods and ask the driver to return them. The signature of the person accepting goods is proof that delivery has been successful and you are happy with the condition of the product.

Delivery times may be extended for Scotland, Cornwall, Devon & Kent.
Please remember to check the condition of the items - should there be any signs of damage please inform the driver as signing for the goods otherwise indicates that you are satisfied with the condition they have arrived in.

- cancellations without notice will incur a failed delivery charge.
