The latest launch from pinball masters, Stern Pinball, Avengers: Infinity Quest brings the eternal battle between good and evil right into your home as you join your favourite super heroes in an attempt to stop the evil Thanos and his minions from fulfilling his ambition of global domination.
You’ll be aided in your quest by some of the trickest features ever to appear on a Stern pin, not to mention one element that is completely new and which has never been seen on a pinball table before!
The new Avengers: Infinity Quest game is an all-new design and, unlike previous releases, it is based on the Marvel comic book series rather than the popular movies. It is a six-ball, three-flipper game with the third flipper half-way up on the left side of the playfield.
But, for the first time in any pinball game, Avengers: Infinity Quest features a ramp which can be accessed by all three flippers. The Gauntlet ramp has an industry first entrance profile, meaning a ball from any of the three flippers can be directed to the ramp.
At the heart of the playing field is an interactive Dr Strange spinning kinetic sling ring disc with dual direction velocity detection, which can aid you on your way to opening portals and collecting Infinity gems.
The disc features a motorised pop-up disc scoop which transports pinballs into an underground portal, a subway which can hold and stage up to three balls. Balls can be viewed through custom play field windows which are accentuated with dynamic RGB lighting effects.
As you would expect from a game which takes you on an intergalactic adventure, Avengers: Infinity Quest boasts a host of thrilling elements to assist you with your quest to defeat l Thanos.
These include a portal lock which turns any Gem Quest into a multiball; Captain Marvel and Hulk spinning targets; spell out rules; Soul Gem mini wizard mode; a gravity defying Avengers Tower magnetic lock ramp with gravitational vari-target and magnet hold and a custom sculpted Thanos Infinity Gauntlet with light-up gems, all of which combine to guarantee non-stop action.
Incredible new hand drawn artwork has been especially created for this game by noted artist Zombie Yeti, showcasing the images of many of your favourite Avengers. The translite features a full colour Black Order theme while LCD graphic scenes add to the excitement of the game.
A stereo system with a three channel amplifier ensures that the action sounds a good as it looks, while a CPU mounted line-out audio connector also allows for external amplification. With 25 RGB software controlled LEDs providing electrifying visual effects, this pin is a feast for the eyes, ears and hands.
