Millions of years before humans, the universe raged with the sounds of war! Two tribes of mechanised warriors fought for superiority and for control of their homeworld - Cybertron. But with energy sources running low, one tribe - the Decepticons - looked further afield for energy to take by force. They found Earth. Now, only the Autobots can stop them!
In Stern's Transformers pinball machine, you'll become a member of the heroic Autobots. Fight for Earth and Cybertron alongside the legendary Optimus Prime and his companions. You'll follow themes and storylines from the original 1980s cartoon series. You'll be transported through space, across the galaxy from Cybertron to Earth, and through time - right back to your childhood! Autobots - transform and roll out!
Animatronic Ball-Firing Megatron!
The playfield brings all the Transformers characters you know and love right back to life! An animatronic Megatron model starts the game, broadcasting mission briefings based on episodes from the TV series. Then he attacks, firing pinballs from his Fusion Cannon right across the playfield! Lock your pinballs in Soundwave's cassette deck ball capture and watch them launch into a frantic melee of multiball action!
The gameplay is mission-based and themed on events from the original TV cartoons. Clip scenes from the series are displayed on the 18.5" HD video screen. Use your flippers, including the third upper playfield flipper, to guide your pinball into the Optimus Prime bash toy for points and the Energon spinner to collect Energon Cubes. Aim for the right ramp, which feeds the right flipper or diverts to load Megatron's Fusion Cannon. Or the left ramp, which feeds the left flipper. Catch the Bumblebee captive ball and boost your scoring, or shoot the multiple stand-ups, Grimlock Dinobot model, Megatron's defensive targets and even two special slingshots.
Limited Edition with Exclusive Features!
The Limited Edition machine is dripping with exclusive goodies not included with the Pro and Premium! Check out the mirrored backglass artwork, Expression RGB lighting system with laser-cut shapes and themed game effects, and the force feedback haptic effects from the built-in shaker motor. It even comes with a special glare-reducing playfield glass for better vision in any environment.
It also features custom powdercoated legs, hinges and armour and a uniquely numbered LE plate. And it comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed by the CEO of Stern Pinball and Game Designer Elliot Eismin. And with only 750 LEs ever to be made, it doesn't get more exclusive than this!
Spike 3 Platform & Insider Connected Tech
The game runs on Stern's own Spike 3 platform, ensuring the fastest, smoothest gameplay. Stern's Insider Connected technology is also built in, enabling players to connect remotely from any location. And when playing Transformers, Insider Connected subscribers can collect Cyber Coins - which unlock whole new Challenge Modes to be mastered.
Six pinballs are included for those Multiball moments. The upgraded stereo sound system runs through a three-channel amp with 10-band equaliser and fade adjusters for fine-tuning those 80s sound effects to perfection. The speech effects include clips by the original voice actors of Optimus Prime and Megatron. There's an audio line-out too, for plugging into external sound systems. Full 12-Month On-Site Warranty
Our pinball warranty gives you full 12-month cover for any fault arising, plus a further 12-month parts warranty. If your machine does develop a fault in the first year, we will dispatch a trained, experienced pinball technician to your home to fix the fault on-site. In the second year, we will offer phone assistance and supply any parts and advice necessary for repair.
This applies to private owners of pinballs based in mainland UK. Machines in commercial premises are covered for six months. Our on-site warranty is designed to give you complete peace of mind.
