Product Description
The Classic Diner is one of the best-selling slate bed pool dining tables around. Sleek, stylish and well-built, it's a great centrepiece to your living area, and really lets you make the most of your space.
Whilst catering for serious pool players who demand the very best in game quality, it quickly converts into a large, impressive dining table. It's almost two tables for the price of one.
The bed on the Classic Diner is a single piece of three-quarter-inch slate, honed and processed to be perfectly flat and provide precise ball roll and performance. The table has been manufactured to the same standard as commercial tables most often found in pubs and clubs.
It is available in two sizes to suit your environment. Choose 6ft or 7ft, but remember to leave enough space for cueing around the edges. The cabinet is slim at just five inches deep, and with a high underside, allows diners plenty of leg room. You can choose from six spectacular finishes, including wood veneers.
The Classic Diner is unusual among pool dining tables as it features an internal ball return system. This neatly directs potted balls back to the ball drawer. The balls can stay in the ball drawer whilst the dining tops are in use, and the drawer retracts into the table - staying well out of your way.
Most pool dining table cabinets don't have the room for a ball return system, so the Classic Diner really is a cut above the rest. Each British-spec pocket is lined with a hard-wearing rubber insert, dampening the noise of the ball.
Included with the table is a two-piece dining top, supplied to match your choice of table finish. To prepare the table for dining, simply pocket all the balls, retract the ball drawer, and lay the tops over the table frame. The tops are heavy, in order to prevent slippage when being used, and require two people to safely lift.
The Classic Diner is also suitable for office boardrooms, where the breakout room pool table can convert into a meeting room. The body and legs are classically styled, designed to look modern and to suit almost any room. Attractive chrome corner caps are fitted to each table corner for extra protection.
Select from four standard colours, included with the table, or the full range of Hainsworth Smart napped cloths for a small surcharge. When professionally fitted and stretched tight over the slate, this cloth gives a world-class game of British pool.
