Playing The Field
However beautiful a pool table may be (and the Scorpion is undeniably beautiful), the most important feature must always be the playing experience. This table combines good looks with even better gameplay, which is evident from the very first time your cue touches the white ball.
The bed is composed of 30mm slate, machined in three sections and then hand-calibrated during installation to ensure a perfect playing surface. Every shot will be as accurate as you make it, with the excellent playing surface providing a consistent and thrilling game every time. Whether you are new to pool or a veteran of many years, this is truly a table to appreciate.
On Top of Your Game
Even if you have a dedicated games room, you may well choose to site the Scorpion in your living and dining room. With its delicate and slender, yet superbly strong, base, the Scorpion brings light and air to a space unlike any other pool table. The wooden cabinet almost appears to be floating on air.
With the addition of a choice of easily fitted dining tops, the Scorpion can change from the centrepiece of an exciting sporting contest to the heart of a convivial dinner in seconds. You can order your Scorpion as a 7ft table with British-spec pockets, cushions and Hainsworth Smart cloth, or as an 8ft table in American spec with Hainsworth Elite-Pro cloth. British tables are more compact, making them better for smaller spaces, and they give you that classic strategic game experience.
On the flipside, the American-spec tables are larger and, with their pointed cushions and napped cloth, give you a more fast and furious game, with long power shots and precise accuracy the name of the game.
