Skee-ball is an American game which gained huge popularity in the 1930s and onwards. Today it’s a social sport, played in leagues across the USA. Here in the UK it’s less well-known, but is an increasingly popular addition to themed bars, nightspots, bowling alleys and amusement arcades.
It’s easy to play. Each player rolls their ball up the alley where a ramp at the end sends it into the air. The aim is to land the ball in the highest-value target, build your score and defeat your opponents. Sounds simple, right? Wrong!
