Manufactured specifically to survive the very worst that the British weather can throw at them, these tables are built using high quality marine ply and a high nylon content water-resistant cloth. This allows the table to permanently live outside, providing a fun focal point for outdoor parties as well as adding an option for table placement for those with limited indoor space. There are only a handful of true outdoor pool tables manufactured in the UK, and a few imported models are also available. They differ from their indoor counterparts in a few key ways.
Marine ply is used to create the cabinets and components for outdoor models, instead of solid wood or conventional MDF. This material is tougher and more resistant to damp, mould and other issues.
Special outdoor cloths with a high nylon content are used. The lack of wool means that any water tends to bead up on the surface, and can be easily brushed off, soaked up or left to evaporate.
